More Uses for Custom Birth Announcement Labels: Custom Wine Labels

The traditional christening or child’s baptism is usually followed by a party. Wet the baby’s head in style with your own set of custom wine labels. This is one birth announcement all your adult friends and family will enjoy.
The custom wine label for a birth announcement would include the baby’s name, the birth statistics and probably a picture of the new baby. Choose colors that either compliment the wine bottle, the baby shower decorations or the baby’s new nursery. Black and white is nice for a wine label as is cream and brown. That is, if you don’t know the nursery colors go with something classic and classy.
The birth announcement wine label could be printed on sticker sheets or on cardstock or even copy paper. Be economical and print four to six labels on a single sheet and cut them apart. Attach the paper or card labels with gum paste or white school glue. It’s easier to place the custom wine label over the original wine label. If you want to take the old labels off first you can but it could take some time.
If you aren’t the parent, ask the happy new family for a great photograph of their new baby for your wine label birth announcement. Be sure to crop and edit the photograph before you upload the photograph to the online printer’s website. Choose something cute that shows the baby’s face in full view for people to ooh and aaah over as they sip their drinks.
Choose a wine that works well with a new baby party. Something light and fruity makes sense. If you live near a winery, a local product makes sense. They may even offer you some free wine based on the fact that that you have created a potential new customer for them. Celebrating new life with the grapes off the vine who could argue with that?
