A new baby can be difficult for siblings, especially younger children who may feel left out or pushed aside by the arrival of the new baby. Parents always try to involve their children in the pregnancy and birth but still, feelings can get hurt. Sibling birth announcements are a great way for children to feel involved. They could distribute them to their friends and teachers. When new brothers and sisters are on the horizon feeling a lack of control over the situation is often the cause of hurt feelings, anger and resentment towards the new child. This way, some of those feelings can be displaced by positive displays of affection for the new baby.
